Message from Kim Gregory
Dear Parents,
Welcome to Greenville Gifted! I am so excited to get to know your child through the next 6 weeks! Let me start by introducing myself to you. I am married to a terrific husband and have 2 boys in college and 2 girls (ages 10 and 13).
I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD and graduated from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
I hold MD & SC certification in:
- Early childhood education
- Elementary education
- Middle school ELA
- Online Teaching
- Gifted education
- Administration
I have taught for 15 years in the Upstate. I also teach online classes in the Education Department at Arizona University.
The qualities that make me an effective educator include: organization, motivation, creativity and passion. I believe all children must be pushed and encouraged to reach their fullest potential. I also believe that learning is never “over” and that even exceptional children need to learn patience and how to work towards continuous improvement.
I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the summer! If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions, please feel free to contact me at any time.
Sincerely,
