I am so excited to get to know your child through the next 6 weeks! \u00a0Let me start by introducing myself to you. I am married to a terrific husband and have 2 boys in college and 2 girls (ages 10 and 13).<\/p><p>I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD and graduated from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.<\/p><p>I hold MD &amp; SC certification in:<\/p><ol><li>Early childhood education<\/li><li>Elementary education<\/li><li>Middle school ELA<\/li><li>Online Teaching<\/li><li>Gifted education<\/li><li>Administration<\/li><\/ol><p>I have taught for 15 years in the Upstate.\u00a0 I also teach online classes in the Education Department at Arizona University.<\/p><p>The qualities that make me an effective educator include: organization, motivation, creativity and passion. I believe all children must be pushed and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.\u00a0\u00a0 I also believe that learning is never \u201cover\u201d and that even exceptional children need to learn patience and how to work towards continuous improvement.<\/p><p>I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the summer!
